Anyone use(d) Alpine's amplifier link from HU to amp? I am replacing my factory 8" with a CM308D4. I have a D310 so I would like to use the amp link if I can find one. Problem is the only amps to use the amp link are too powerful for the sub. The amp I am looking at is the M605. Since it does 400 @ 4ohm, I could put that on one VC (with gains very low) and a "pot" (still no idea where to get one/how to use..) on the other VC to change Q. Do you think I should do that to be able to use the amp link? Or could I wire it in series and see how the amp reacts/sub performs? I dont have any idea of what kind of power it'd push at 8ohm but yeah.. Otherwise I'd be looking at the MRP-F250 (bridging each ch to each VC) or the MRP-M450 and just running in parallel with gains very low without being able to control it from my D310.
