Hi guys, I have 2 12" aw1200's (Audiobahn) and a 1300hc amp (I know everyone doesn't like audiobahn, but they have been fine for me). My boyfriend recently gave me his old system which is 2 kicker 12l7's and a jbl1200.1. I don't know too much about car audio, but would like to run all 4 subs and the 2 amps. I would love to build my own box, but judging from what I have read on many forums, I don't believe i am capable, and thus would prefer to pay. So is anyone willing to build a box? F/G or mdf, would prefer f/g just because it looks so much nicer and I would like to go as "showy" as possible. I drive a 2003 tiburon, I can use the whole trunk and if possible would like to be able to move the box to be able to get to the spare....(although its not necessary if it cant be done). Im trying to find the trunk measurements, but all I have come up with so far is this site: http://www.nctd.com/printversion-review.cfm?ReviewID=1115 If I can't find any I guess I'll have to find them out. Off topic, Is it bad to run different subs? I've heard conflicting things, lots of people that are really into audio and compete say never to do it, but i'm never going to compete so will I be ok? 2 square subs and 2 round ones should look pretty funky.
