so basically I'm gonna switch from my polk 5x7 coaxials to a component set (kicker KS) and run an active crossover (KX3). they seem like they have very good reviews but I don't like to trust reviews from sites trying to sell what's being reviewed, they seem biased. the polks I have now sound good but 1 is noticably louder than the other so I always have to have the balance set to the drivers side a couple notches which bugs me. 1 of them came with a crown vic I bought and I just so happened to find the matching one on ebay for like 2 bucks, so I've definetly got my moneys worth out of them. anyways I just wanna make sure I don't spend money on comps that won't sound as good as what I have now and would like to run all kicker to make it look like it could have came with the car (like dodge srt's). I'm leaning twards the KS but if I can find a good deal ill splurge on the SS series if they're worth the difference. I can fit the 5x7/6x8 or a 5.25 with adapters, is it true round speakers sound better than oval ones, midbass wise. sorry about all the ?'s but I figured you guys would be the ones to ask over the local shop who will tell you whatever they can to make a sale
