($90ish)- I love the sound of the DKE-116 so I figure that I&#039;ll like these too.Amp: Kenwood KAC 8401 - 4 x 60rms ($180ish)- I&#039;ve had Sony amps &amp;amp; they tend to over-heat here in hot Austin.&nbsp; This amp has a built in fan so I&#039;m hoping I could avoid the ever-annoying over-heating issues...&nbsp; I&#039;ve read some posts talking about the poor power supplies in Kenwood amps of the past.&nbsp; Not sure if that is still an issue.&nbsp; I looked at a Phoenix Gold amp but can&#039;t remember the model.&nbsp; The problem was that it was over 17&quot; long &amp;amp; won&#039;t fit where I plan to put the amp...Thanks for your advice...&nbsp; $500 is nothing compared to most great stereos (like the one in my boat) but that&#039;s all the wifey will let me spend for this project //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and I want to get as high quality as I can.Gracias!Mark</blockquote>
