Message: <blockquote data-quote="Z3M" data-source="post: 6894547" data-attributes="member: 613841"><p>Yes, the volume would decrease as you came to a stop and increase to your original setting when in sped up.  I asked this in a couple of BMW forums.  The HU was made by Alpine but the complete system HU, amp, and speakers were badged as a Harmon Kardon system.  They said it was the amp that controlled the SSV as for an aftermarket option they suggested joining a car audio forum.  Other than buying a HU with SSV built in I'm guess there is no after market add-on.  That begs the question.....Is there any aftermarket HU that have speed sensitive volume control?</p></blockquote><p></p>
