Message: <blockquote data-quote="boomzilla" data-source="post: 4767917" data-attributes="member: 587708">well my ddm is a fluke, its not some knockoff. i have seen other dmms where you can set the voltage youre trying to read, but mine doesnt have a selectable volt setting, it just has v in dc and ac.the voltage on the dmm will rise as i turn the gain knob up. once it hits about 38.7 it starts going back down. it will never read past that number, it just falls. my switched 12v wire shorted in my car, i cant find it so for now im using a jumper cable from my 12v battery connection to my remote on the amp, could that be why im getting screwy readings?</blockquote>
