I always hear this in the iPhone vs. Droid argument. WTF are you "customizing?" Are you making pretty glitter screens or what? The other thing I always hear is how fast the Droid is. What's faster? I don't get it. I've used an iPhone FOREVER and never find myself tapping my foot waiting on something to load. Pandora on my iPhone straight owns the Nexus'. So much so that I couldn't even use it. And that's one app that I use every single day. Laggy doesn't even begin to describe how bad it was. Same service, same areas and my iPhone kills it. I downloaded that JuiceDefender thing for my Nexus to try to conserve batt life. Seems like all it did was turn off the stuff that I wanted running. I didn't use it any more than I use my iPhone and the battery life was straight up miserable. You can't tell me not to use it to conserve batt life. AND it took FOREVER to charge. Seriously, like 10 hours plugged into the wall to go from 30% to 77%? And then back to 30% on the 1 hour ride home. No thanks. The iPhone takes like 30 minutes to charge. The buttons on the Nexus (and probably other Droids) are poorly placed. The wake/sleep button is exactly opposite the volume rocker. Every time I wake or sleep it, I was adjusting the volume. The ringer would be off or stupid loud. My headphones wouldn't be on or would blow my eardrums out. Lame. And why the hell would I need the volume control when I'm BT'ing to my HU? And the headphone jack is in the worst spot. On the bottom? Really? WooHoo!! Ice Cream Sandwich!!11! Big f'n whoop. Put a **** clock you can read on the home screen. Gorilla glass is pretty awesome though. And I did enjoy some of the text features on the Droid. Like, not having to scroll for punctuation and having word suggestions right there. But, there was no "return" button to seperate thoughts in a text. It had to be seperate texts or one long run-on. That's dumb.
