If a thief gets in your truck and has issues getting it out he will end up damaging your dash. But if your dead set on it,  bolt a strap to rear of your deck with a 2 inch ratchet then anchor it to the floor or firewall. and use the ratchet to tighten  the strap.I dont see your head deck leaving the dash.  This should be fairly easy to pull off in your truck if it is like mine a 2000. Plenty of room behind the digital message panel for this set up. But like I said you may just get it stabbed with a screwdriver.</p></blockquote><p></p>
