New to the forum so thanks in advance! Been a long time since I put in a new stereo but restoring an old land rover and the Tunes had to go! So bought a Decent 4 Channel Amp ( Jensen 760.4 ) awhile back I never put in and have all new Full range speakers (4) 1 in each door installed. I am Omitting the other Speakers like door mid-range and column tweeters. The Head unit is a Precision Power. I was able to disconnect all the wiring under the seat that went to the old amp and was able to track down all of the wires coming and going. So I know I need a 4 channel line-output converter to wire the hi volt speaker leads from the Head unit into the Amp as it has only RCA Input jacks, What about the 2 Pre-Amp outputs on the Head unit as an option to run the 4 speakers ? I know it's for a sub but I doubt I'll ever put one in....... If you run the Rca cables from the Head to the amp what does that give you for capability? Is it just a Rear and a Front or Right and Left signal??? And if you do that you have just 2 inputs into the Amp from the Head so should you Bridge both sets of speakers and run it as a 2 channel? Thanks for any input......Kinda fuzzy about the Hookup possibilities!
