ENGINE NOISE AND DISTORTION IS HEARD WHEN VOLUME IS AT 0 OR WHEN MUSIC IS ABOUT TO GO TO NEXT SONG. Ok, well my engine noise is back again....just had some new 0 gauge wires installed and engine noise is back. I have 2 sets of 0 gauge from front battery to rear battery, the 0 gauge wires are ran from left side of the car. All 3 RCAs are ran on the right side of the car. However, the RCAs and power/ground wires come together near the trunk. Is that why the engine noise comes up? Also, whenever my volume is at 0, my rear 6x9s have distortion noises...even though my Alpine PDX-4.100's settings are at normal..... Last, I kinda need help with the settings on my Orion 1200D and Alpine PDX-4.100. I know how to set the gains, but I don't know about the crossovers, high pass, lower pass, and etc on both amps.... Currently: Alpine PDX: input channel is on 2+4, fronts' high pass is on with the crossover gain around middle Hz. The Rears' crossover mode is off, but when I mess around with the crossover gain it affects them... Orion 1200D: Low pass filter is on, high pass is over. Idk what to set on the low pass filter, it's around 60Hz I believe... Sorry for so many questions haha...still not very familiar with how most of the settings work.
