Message: <blockquote data-quote="dakid23" data-source="post: 6180018" data-attributes="member: 606126">I have a double din phase linear dvd/cd player in my car from circuit city and i just got my sundown sae1200d amp for my subs...In the "tutorial" paper that came with my amp that says how to set my gains it says to set the gain till i get 35 volts but the gain is all the way up and i still only have around 25-27 volts...my question is should i just get a new head unit or just higher the bass boost on the back of the amp? but i dont think the bass boost highers the voltage but just adds bass... thats why i didnt really wanna do that</blockquote>
