Message: <blockquote data-quote="kdicetharappa" data-source="post: 6792918" data-attributes="member: 621619">the head unit will only be used to generate a signal for the external amplifier to amplify in that setup. so when installing the head unit, you won't connect any of the speaker leads to it. instead, you will run a 4 channel RCA cable (or 2 2-channel RCAs, whatever you prefer) to the 4 channel amp. then, run speaker wire (12ga or 16ga should be sufficient) to your 4 speakers.with an external amp and those 6.75s...you should have some serious sound! enjoy</blockquote>
