[QUOTE="Shawnad6514, post: 8783361, member: 685360"] Why does my JL audio 500 watt amp only power on when my stereo is turned up to volume 20... if I go below 20 after it powers on the amp powers off. I know its a power issue with amp because the power light turns on and off on amp at volume 20 and all I have to do is turn up volume on DVD deck to turn it back on... I know all my wiring is rite and it worked just fine with a kenwood single din but my pioneer double din DVD deck has to be at volume 20 for amp to get powered on... does my decks 2volt pre amp output have anything to do with this?
