[QUOTE="raydawg, post: 5613913, member: 607372"] im familiar with tuning the amp GAIN...but my latest setup is a little foreign to me. im using a LOC that has its own gain controls on it, whereas usually ive had aftermarket HU's with there own RCA's so never had to involve an LOC of any kind. so my question is how how much should i rely on the the LOC gain controls? should i act like i tuning an amp and adjust teh gains on the LOC until the signal distorts....then repeat the same process again on the actual amp?? should i set the gains the minimal (basically ignore) and just use teh amp controls? im not entirely sure how too approach this. im thinking about just settnig the gain halfway on the LOC and then do the rest of the tweaking on the amp.
