While driving and listening to some Gorilla Zoe pretty loud, my amp cut out on me today. The power light on the amp is off. The iluminated Hifonics logo was still slightly lit, however. No blown fuses. Another amp that worked perfectly fine two months ago, until I put this one in, doesn't work either. I didn't feel like drilling a hole in my cab, so I ran the ground to a seat belt bolt. Probably a shitty ground. But this wouldn't prevent the amp from powering up at all, would it? Yesterday, I had my dash apart and was working underneath it to install a kill switch. Is it more likely that I disconnected the remote wire at some point? I'll be buying a multimeter and checking everything out on Tuesday, but does anyone know what is most likely to be the problem?
