These are 4 ohm models from a few years back and the new ones are not 2 ohms either despite what infinity claims. My jbl components are rated at 2 ohms , yet when i hook up a ohmmeter to the terminals of the crossovers while the woofer and tweeter are properly connected i get a reading of 3.4 ohms which is typical of a standard 4 ohm speaker. Thats why on the front of all the infinty and jbl boxes it says "true 4 ohm". its just a marketing ploy , nothing more.</p></blockquote><p></p>
