Today i was installing Polk Momo mmc6500 running off a planet audio 150.4. i wired up the driver side door just as the instructions said. checked it more than five times to make sure it was correct. played everything for about 5 min then proceeded to put the door panel back on. when i put the door panel back on i decided to play it a few more minutes to see how it sounded. my gain on my amp was completely turned to its lowest setting so i decided to turn it up. with the music playing i started to turn up the gain when before i get the gain even 1/4 turned up everything goes crazy the music goes to static and weird squeeling noises, one of my subs (wired on a separate amp) starts moving in and out and the amp immediately starts smoking. i quickly turn it off and there are clouds of smoke coming out of the amp. i stand there a minute thinking about what just happened and decided to turn it back on and see what happens. there is nothing no music, no sound at all, the green lights on my amps are on like there is nothing wrong. no fuses are blown anywhere in the car. anyone have any idea what i did wrong, what i broke, and how to fix it? PLEASE HELP!!!!!
