Message: <blockquote data-quote="alphakenny1" data-source="post: 1519783" data-attributes="member: 561605">^ No tested the sub with a dmm and it is dual 4 ohm.  i also took the dmm at the amp and the final load says its 2 ohm.so here's what i did.  I was playing the song "if i ever fall in love" by Shai.  And if you don't know this song, this song at the beginning freaking slams.  I played the music at about 65/80 with oscope set at clipping at 70.  anyways with the arc, after maybe the second bass hit, it would shut off.  So i proceeded to turn off the car and on again and played the song again.  Again maybe after the 2nd or 3rd bass hit, the sub/amp would shut off.  I threw the ID in and played the song and it played without a problem.  So can it be thats it a bad sub?</blockquote>
