I swear they have high school aged kids working in there after school.... I got one memphis amp here, a 4K, that the guy was a memphis dealer, he sent it back to memphis to repair, and the retards put the wrong rail caps in it.... They looked identical to the originals but where half the voltage handling twice the uF... Needless to say within 1 minute of turning on "POOOF" went the caps and the guy had to send it here.... Unfortunately it's still broken, because the output module, which is non-repairable, only replacable in this amp but rarely get's damaged so it's normally not a concern, got blown up by the caps being blown up so now the amp is just FUBAR... matter of fact I think the guy got a new module from memphis for it and I need to find out why he hasn't sent it so I can finish the amp.... But anyway, Memphis repair shop is retards as far as I am concerned.... They also use NTE parts to replace the drive transistors in the power supply and I see in your pics that ampmedics used them in your amp too. Those do not work right! We have all the OEM parts here. Not many other shops do, so they use NTE parts? Yuck, anyone here who knows ANYTHING about electronics "for real" will tell you to stay the hell away from NTE parts... I have never used them in my repairs and never will but I've seen amps from **** near every other shop (except Zed) use NTE parts in their repairs in some cases... I think its unacceptable.

[QUOTE="dB-r, post: 6244386, member: 574699"] Wow, so we are a bargain on 4K's compared to him.. LOL I did not know that. Your amp was in bad shape, and your right they likely replaced a lot more than 8 or 9 FETs. Memphis repair shop doesn't even count. I swear they have high school aged kids working in there after school....
