I installed a system in my car awhile back, worked fine for a long time except sometimes when i would pull my car to a stop the subs would quit. but as long as i was driving it would run perfect. Im running 2 JL 12's im guessing they're w3's. but I was running a Rockford Fosgate P6002 amp. one day it just quit putting out sound. the amp still had power but I checked my ground wire its good, power wire was hott, remote wire is showing continuity from the deck speaker wires were good... I couldn't figure it out so I tried one of my other amps, a Pheonix Gold 400 amp. It worked, so I just figure my RF amp is toast. With the pheonix gold amp installed the system would spratically shut off including the deck and would turn on a few seconds later, I figure it was being underpowered.. Well yesterday the same thing, the subs were not putting out sound yet the amp is powered on. So I took both amps apart and I can't see anywhere on the circuit board of a burn or a crack in the solder. I'm not super smart in car audio but Im learning. Can anyone please help me out? Whats causing my amps outputs to stop working and is there any way of salvaging the amps myself? Thanks, XXXREPRESENT
