[QUOTE="MotoMan3198, post: 4769215, member: 596759"] so my brother just gave me a new kenwood kac-7201 series amp. (i think thats it) i hooked it up just fine. now from a 250 watt amp to this 800 watt amp it now cuts out when i turn up the subs on the deck. i have it hooked up to my battery with 14g wire. the ground is connected under the hood. it only cuts out when i turn it up. i turn on the car and it doesnt cut out as much, but still enough to worry about. what could this be? would you suggest a capacitor? any help would be appreciated.
