It's much easier to put the insulated, jacketed wire under there because it's not as suseptible to the elements, doesn't have to be adjusted, etc, etc...I'm not saying it's not technically feasible, anything is if you put enough time into it - I'm just saying for a daily install it might not be worth that extra effort. Running a power wire under a vehicle doesn't take that much more extra effort to do.</p></blockquote><p></p>
