Its tuned to 22hz (sounds great by the way, unreal output for these subs). I try to turn it up a little louder, then a little more... expecting to blow the subs or smell voicecoils burning, when instead the amp goes into protect mode.  Otherwise it plays great.  Think it could be the alternator not producing enough current?  I have checked the voltage under load and it doesn't drop much under 13 volts.  Think an extra battery will solve it or think something else could be wrong?  Thanks.</p></blockquote><p></p>
