Hello all, I'm installing my very first system. It's been a dream of mine for years. I have 2 R2SD4-10" subs. They have DVC's and a 4 ohm impedance with 200 watts rms and 400 watts max. I am looking to wire the subs in parallel/series for a total impedance of 2 ohms. The sub manufacturer said I can install them at either 2 ohms or 8 ohms. So here is where I am lost. I have a pretty good grasp on the wiring and sub/amp matching. But I'm having trouble finding a good amp that has an impedance of 2 ohms at 400 watts rms. I have found several at 2 ohms/500 watts. But the low to high range is 360-480 watts rms for my subs. I'm concerned about pushing the subs too much with that extra 20 watts over the high range. Lastly, what is the best way to connect my two components mids, two tweeters and two coaxials in to a 4 channel amp? Do I run all 4 speaker in to the amp and run the tweeters in to the head unit? Kind Regards and thanks for your help!
