I have seen plenty videos of the Type R running at 1000w or more, so I don't think I'm hurting it. However, when I was tuning the amp, the sub itself sounded good, but a noise was coming from the closest wall to the sub. I'm pretty sure it wasn't coming from the amp, so i think maybe there's a leak in my box. This is my first system so I'm not really sure what clipping sounds like. In order to get the noise to stop, I have to turn the gain down to about %15, and my sub can barely be heard. It sounds great from the front, nice and loud, with the gain set at about 55% or so, what do I do about the noise? is it just the normal sound of the sub when you get close to it, or am I going to blow my amp/sub?</p></blockquote><p></p>
