Hey guys, I'm a nubie here, and I'm putting in a new system in a '70 K5 Blazer. It consists of a Blaupunkt Casablanca HU, 2 Blaupunkt 6x9's, a component setup up front, (probably Kenwood 5 1/4" w/tweeters) and 2 Polk GNX10's. To let you guys know, I chose this because I am a casual listener, not looking for something that will blow the doors off, just something that sounds nice and doesn't cost a lot of money. I can always upgrade in the future. Anyways, the question: The GNX10's are ratted at 175W RMS, and I was thinking of getting a Lanzar Vibe228 (2x150W.) As with any brand, there are people who will tell you that this or that is a POS. I've heard some good things about Lanzars, for driving small stuff, and I think I'll give it a try. I'm not driving 15's!. I will have each sub on its own channel. Since the subs take 175W RMS, and the Vibe puts out 150W, would it be best to go with the 150Wx2 amp, or go with a 200Wx2 amp? I just don't want to overdo it on the subs. I am leaning towards the 150Wx2 amp because I can (and probably will) upgrade sometime in the future when I know more about this stuff and have more money. Thanks a lot for your input... super_kev
