[QUOTE="crzy2bealive, post: 8581462, member: 673321"] This will be my first time wiring a sound system ever......(I did my home entertainment system and that was easy) but after reading about bridging, ohms, etc...I'm not as confident as I thought. Here are the items I bought. JL Audio M700/5 (amp) Specs: 75 W x 4 @ 4 Ω + 300 W x 1 @ 2 Ω - 14.4V Inside the amp the 2 positive and 2 negatives are connected in parallel 2 (JL Audio M8IB5-SG-WH) subs Specs: 200 W, 4 Ω 4 (JL Audio MX650-CCX-SG-WH) speakers Specs: 60 W, 4 Ω Alpine CDE SXM145 BT (Head unit) Specs: 2 pre amp outputs Based on my wiring schematic am I pointed in the right direction? I'm guessing I have to use RCA Y splitters from the top row of outputs from the head unit to the amp for Channels 1 through 4 based on the Alpine manual. The subs will get a standard RCA cable from the bottom row of outputs to the amp. Head unit only has 2 outputs.
