Yea you pay a little more for them, but you get lifetime warranty, they're all underrated (mine does 285 hot and 294 cold and was rated at 275...), and they are some stout, stout alternators.Mechman is a good proven brand that is cheaper and is always a great alternative if price is an issue. DC Power is good, but they too are expensive and not as good as Singer (imo), many people are liking JS Ultimate Alts (new company), and there are several others. But Singer gets my vote.</blockquote>
