I currently have somewhat-poopy Rockford Fosgate P1 Dual 12" Subwoofers in a 1.25 sealed for each sub in a dual 12" enclosure, and I was wondering how much better would 2 Alpine Type-E 12" subwoofers would sound compared to the P1's? And whats a good amplifier to power the Type-E's? I thought about 1 Type-R, but Im not sure if it will be better than 2 P1's? And plus, if I get a Type-R, I'd have to get a custom box made, and I dont have the slightest clue to doing the tuning with the hz, and how to find cubic feets. Any help would be highly appreciated, thank you! Ok, I kinda looked around reviews for the Type-E, and some people say its nothing. So I started to look at the Type-S. And it seems ok, I just dont know a good amplifier to power with it, and it supposedly works fine in a sealed enclosure like mine, it says: sealed box volume: 0.85-1.5 cubic feet, and mine is 1.25. Im hoping someone can tell me if I paired it with a Hifonics amplifier (I really want to try one of them) if it will be ok, or an Alpine amp, and help me out a little bit? Thanks.
