I was just trying to determine if I would get better SQ from an Ecplise HU instead?But if the Ecplise does not connect digital to the H701, whatever SQ improvement I might benefit from with the Ecplise unit, I would loose since it does not offer digital output..So, I think I am better off going with Alpine with something like the 9860, which should have BETTER SQ than the Ecplise when hooked to the H701?
