Message: <blockquote data-quote="brooksi" data-source="post: 116172" data-attributes="member: 541547"><p>ok i got a new alpine deck and i noticed on the harness for the deck the ground wire has a metal piece on it that they say u should connect to the battery but then on my other harness the one that plugs into where the factory radio was theres a black ground wire.  on every other deck ive installed ive just put the 2 black wires together and it works fine i was wonderin if i could do that with this like cut the metal piece of the alpine harness and tie it with the harness for the car.</p></blockquote><p></p>
