Sound shaping is fair to decent but only allows adjustment to the HPF from 80hz to 350khz I believe, and the bass adjustment is at 80hz. The interface is kick *** and it just sounds so much nicer then the other models. Listening to it side by side with a 9884, there is a distinct difference in SQ from the 9886. I got mine off ebay for 235.00 shipped..I have no complaints</p></blockquote><p></p>
