Message: <blockquote data-quote="saj21187" data-source="post: 2898277" data-attributes="member: 570063"><p>I owned an older 7892 and had the 9857 for a short time(about a month) and i can tell you if you liked the older alpine you had, you will be dissapointed in the 9857.  Personally I would go with an eclipse or higher end pioneer unit, or try and find an older alpine in good condition.  The 9857 did have a decent ipod interface, but it took a long time to scroll through artists and once you selected a song, you couldnt go back to the album you were just in it started at the begining of your artists.</p></blockquote><p></p>
