I was a little concerned about the lack of a built in equalizer tho.  Then i found that a lot of guys run this deck with a H701. I am by no means into competition or anything but this seems like a pretty expensive tool just to get the best sound. Is it really necessary for your average system or is there a cheaper, more basic model that would work for me?Jared</blockquote>
