Message: <blockquote data-quote="ipaqman" data-source="post: 1818624" data-attributes="member: 561412">i have the new alpine 9857 head unit with the clarion bluetooth accessory (the BT1).   It connects through the alpine head unit.  When i get a call i can either answer it on the clarion module that you mount beside the head unit or behind the steering wheel, or answer it by pressing the talk button on your cell phone.  Once you answer the music is automatically muted and you can talk normaly hands free.  Once you dial a number it aoutomatically goes through the head unit.  all i can say is the clarion module works perfectly with my alpine head unit.  I didn't get the alpine module cause it wasnt out.hope this helps.ipaqman</blockquote>
