Hi all, I was listening to an audio CD yesterday and then switched to AM radio to listen to a baseball game. This morning I switched back to CD and it wouldn't play. Said it was on track 28 (of 16) and at -1:38 playing time. I figured I'd eject it and put it back in. Upon hitting eject, the face motored down but no CD came out. No noises of movement or anything. I had to physically push the face back into place to get it to close. So, is there any way to remove the CD? Or is this thing just shot? Its going on about 4 years. Also, if I need to buy a new headunit, I would probably go with a 9886. Do Alpine wiring harnesses ever change? My friend did a pretty nice job soldering everything up for the 9833 install and if I can just remove the headunit/sleeve and slap the new one in that would be great. Thanks much!
