i have gotten a 139.6 w/ passanger side window down(port facing drivers side, helped it to unload..or something)

i would do L7 8's over the L5's...L5's over the bahns...e8a have always interested me...treo makes some loud ass stuff..and of course my beloved hx2's get loud...

My friend hits consistant 138s-139s with two JL w3 8s and a rockford fosgate 160.2 amp. In a small slot ported box tuned to like 45hz. It sounds awsome for 8s and they go as low if not lower then alot of 12s do plus they sound clean if your doing a daily driver and competing at the same time i would reccomend the Jls although the kickers are a great sub they lack alot in the SQ area and i think I would go with the Jls anyday. Look into it before deciding on the kickers also tons of other subs out there like dimond audio great lil subs, mephis. Just look around there are tons of sub that will do the job and sound 10 times cleaner than the kickers doing it.

banshee - the kickers will sound a lot cleaner than you would ever think if you put them in a big enough ported box.

Most installs I have heard with the kickers really lacked in the sq area. I mean they sounded awsome SPL wise and went super low but they were in a ported boxs that may not be to the specs that they should I have yet to hear one in like the 6 cu ft boxes yet. I hear they are supposed to sound amazing in that sized box the L7s that is I am not sure on the L5s. I am planning a install pretty soon on one 10 L5. But I was just pointing out that IMO just from what i have heard they arent as clean as other subs out there but it could of been the install too.
