[QUOTE="audiolife, post: 44670, member: 541383"] if they ignore it that is not cool. they should at least know they dont know everything..i mean he even got the power wrong from the outlet lol..didnt take into account for box size , clipping or the fact that it is impossible to "underpower" a sub into submission. its a clip but that clip can get a 10x boost on the power side..did they take it back? did they try to come up with a solution for you if they took care of it? basically i would go to car sound .com and go to the forums and print off a few things from david navone and rc. let them argue about LAWS of electricity. you would be suprised how stupid people are (like with big caps) what is even funnier is these "shop experts" dont even fully understand ohms law.... i just sit back and think "incredible, how the hell do these idiots get their job?....sure isn't due to their haircut." i used to rep here in indiana so i saw first hand the smarts and the lack there of of stereo shops installers and salesmen....i can remember one installer/shop owner that bought kove coaxials and hooked them up to an amp...the deck was a 4 volt alpine the 4 channel amp was pioneer ...the gain was set at about 80% (ehehe) this idiot (you dont know how many times i wanted to call him this) kept blowin speakers and complained that he couldnt turn it more than half way up without the speakers dieing. no matter what i said i was wrong (he asummed part of the "expert") he blew mb quarts infinity..ect ect only thing that held together was pioneers so that was considered the best...i told him "so pioneer makes the best speaker due to the fact they have strong clipping survival capabilities?" lol he still thought and probably still thinks a gain is a volume control.
