I have an old 1970 911S that I would like to install a sound system into. The goal is to keep the dash stock (it has no radio anyway), but I can live with a pair of speakers in the door. I have a minty set of Kef Kar 160Q coaxials that I would like to use. I would be using my iphone (alac files) as the source, with something like the Hifonics MM-1 as an interface. Hifonics MM-1 (mm1) - Universal iPod/MP3 Adapters for Car Stereos - Sonic Electronix As a complete newb in car audio I was hoping for some advice on picking amps, a small sub, wire, etc. BTW, the last time I bought / installed a car audio system was in 1979! I listen to lots of jazz (Sonny Rollins, Diana Krall), classic rock (Traffic, Clapton, Neil Young), and rock (Tragically Hip, etc.) My goal is sound quality, not quantity and I would like to keep costs as low as reasonable and I'm prepared to buy used. The car already sucks enough cash on its own. Thanks
