I have seen people use Axxess adapters but didn't want to drop another $30-40 for steering wheel controls. I did last night buy a 3.5mm Y adapter. Cut off the two ends and there are three wires. When I connect two of them I get limited control. I am able to volume up, mute, skip forward, and volume down but not on the correct button. When I connect all three nothing works. When I connect one only volume up works. I went into the button mapping and it only allows me to program three buttons. When I try a fourth, it gives me an error and undoes the three buttons I already programmed. I guess that is really all I need. I do use the android auto and can use the Google assistant to make calls so the phone controls aren't really necessary.</p></blockquote><p></p>
