Hey man, not talking about being paranoid. Just seems if safety is your concern...then it doesn't make sense. Bottom line...you are more likely to get hurt/killed carrying a gun then if you don't. So I can't believe the argument ...just in case...protect a loved one. I mean, again you increase the risk of something bad happening...not decrease it. How do you rationalize around that? As to moving...no idea why it would cost 100,000. I have moved ..with selling/buying house, etc. - always well under 5,000. The only thing I could think that would make it that expensive is due to losses related to deprication of a house, or purchase of a new more expensive house. You can't really count that as there are many options around that. So for me..it is common man...carrying a gun with you makes it more likely you will get hurt..or a loved one. Period. If people..said hey..I got this cool gun cause I love guns..and like the power of carrying one... I would say cool... whatever your choice. But to say it is to keep you..or someone you love safe is just not the FACT. If you believe in stats enough to say...there is a risk I will get attcked...then you have to believe them enough to know carrying a gun is a far greater risk. As to Canadian being *******...well you are welcome to come to my place and test that theory
