Figured I would give a quick update for those who come across this post in the future when trying to figure out if they need to spend the xs money. I went from voltage dipping from 15v to nearly 11v with a ~150 amp indicated load to it going down to maybe 13.7v. Only changes made was installing a fresh Duralast Gold battery under the hood and an h9 Duralast Platinum AGM in the rear within 1ft of the amp. No isolator, just ran in parallel with the starting battery. This is also without the big 3 being done, I've been putting it off since it's an astro van and is a bear to get access to the backside of the alternator.
