As said it's like trying to compar apples to oranges. A GTO (sports/muscle car) is built to go fast. While a Honda is made to get you to point A to point B while getting good fuel economy. Two different cars built for two different purposes. This is why I find it funny for people to take a Honda (or car built for the same purpose) and try to make it fast. What does it matter how much my GTO cost me, or how much I've spent on mods? I bought the GTO seeing as how I was looking for an already fast car to make it faster. On top of that I wanted something new, reliable, comfortable, spacious and something that could be a sleeper. Horse power pretty much means nothing, torque is where it's at. I've never really been much to care about dyno #'s, it's just a tool to dial in your car anyways IMO. Therefor I don't know what kind of power my car is making and I do not care. If you are really running 12.6 & 107 you couldn't keep up in a straight line or in the twisties. Yes you can buy older Hondas for dirt cheap. They have a lot of cheap aftermarket parts and you can make them decently fast for a pretty good price. It is not HP that wins races though, it's torque (IMO) and Hondas don't know about that. Either way, fast of not fast, they will still own a Honda I know some people with some fast cars, yes even some Hondas. I'll give respect to where respect is due, as long as they are not a jackass.
