yeah thanks man.. I'll check on what people with similar situations have done and if it's a fair thing to do by appealing. if I was the person with the authority here; I'd let the guy with the speeding ticket go lol... that's a sucka move by the cop lol; but I wouldn't let someone with their GPA situation like mine off easy. I knew the rules, I knew I was border line and I shouldn't have messed around. agreed... just curious, who has a D average though? I didn't think I was making excuses; I was hating on myself if anything... I admitted to the mistakes being my own fault and them being stupid mistakes too. They were both really mistakes of me not making sure of my important records like that.... what idiot lets that stuff go? it was my fault completly. and for the 2nd part... No school is not important to me. I do it to please my parents (which yes is a shitty reason to go to college but it's important to them for me to have a degree + they did so much for me) and I work full time nights at a government job that I've been at for the past 3 years... School really is not my #1 thing like it is for most others. I have one year to get my average over 2.0 (C for those getting confused). You can't graduate with a GPA below 2.0 and if it doesn't come above that in the year to get it up, then they kick you out for a year and then you have to re-apply to get back in. again, who has the D average bud? I know I'm not much better... but here's the difference: C = 63%..... D=53%... Both bad but 10% on any grade is important. agreed.. but I didn't really pass blame so... yup, I'm liek a dummy and where do you fit your C- into that scale? I got full scholarship offered right after high school and I got a great job offering... More than most get at 18 years old so I won't be offended by people saying I'm not bright... anyways, thanks for those who have offered advice or similar experiences though... I mean I was just pissed off when I got my letter. And for the people who think I'm making excuses, I'm not... I take the blame for letting my grades fall and I should have never even been border line.. I'm capable of much better... I really made the thread to see others in probation and how they dealt with it. And I admit that I'm in over my head... full time work + full time school = too much for me... I know people who have done it and did well but I'll even admit that's just too much for me.
