Ok well my aunt had a problem with her car. I am telling this to explain how important this is. Her car would run but the gauges would mess up the car would start sometimes and sometimes not alot of weird stuff. Something electrical. Newer car I might add. Well I told her what to check she told me the cars too new etc. So needless to say I pop the hood. The battery had some sht built up. To clean it you should use a wire brush or a battery terminal cleaner. Well to prove my point stuck a screwdrive down in it to make a clean connection. The light under the hood was bright but got alot brighter. Tried the door lock worked like a charm, and it started fixed the problem. Had nothing to clean it with at the time so used some baking soda and water and poured it on the terminals. Also disconnected the ground while we did this. But that cleaned them right up and the suv works great. Just so people know that alittle bit of corosian (spelling) can really do a number so try to clean them once every month or 2 for a good connection.
