But MRI after showed different. Your sigmoid colon should be 4-5cm in diameter. Mine is 2-3cm. Which means something is causing the narrowing. So at 11 tomorrow I go in for a sigmoidoscopy. The narrowing could be caused by three things. Diverticulitis scarring, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (I don’t have the symptoms for this) or cancer. My white blood cell count has been off, so not sure what the outcome will be. Hoping it’s not cancer. But if it is, it is what it is. I’m 53 and have had a very privileged life. I have busted my *** to get where I am. Making $88k a year, and always have money to spend. Have $500k life insurance, so if it’s my time, at least my wife will be taken care of.</blockquote>
