Ok, here we go. I have a this h/u and a DVA-5200, to go along with this i also have a Alpine PXA-H510. This is my problem, when im using the dvd player, and want to listen to my cd changer CHA-1204. I push the source button, then the a-select button then scroll thru my choices of audio sources choose, my changer and the dvd player shuts off. The head unit still goes back to the dvd screen, but the dvd player shuts off. I would just disconnect the ai-net but then i wouldn't have control of my sound processor, and i would just mount my remote control for my processor but im trying to put all of this stuff in a 97 firebird so... Well i called alpine twice, the first time they told me i needed a different remote, the RUX-4168. Looked it up on ebay said it was mainly for the dva-5205, which doesn't make any sense to me. The second time the guy didn't have a clue about anything. This is how i have it hooked up, my changer goes into the processor then goes out to the dvd player, and from the dvd player to the brain. Im using the optical output from the dvd player to the sound processor. I still had this problem before i hooked up the sound processor, if the helps.... If anybody has ever had this problem please tell me how u fixed it. If u have any questions that might help u figure out this problem ask away. Fist time i have dealt with this kind of setup. Everything works great besides this. Oh about the remote, alpine said that i needed this for a certain button, think it was v-select maybe, said that i needed to toggle a certain mode, the reason why i just don't buy this remote is because of the fact that i have the remote that came with the original dvd player. Again anybody, help
