So the solution then would be to instead wire it for 8 ohms, which when the amps share the load, divided would put the sub at 4 ohms. Obviously for loud bass 4 ohms is not going to be optimal, but at 4 ohms strapped wouldn&#039;t this be more power than 1 ohm with the same single amp?
