So, long time lurker... first post. I'll try to not be tooooo annyoing with the "which to buy" question, but the more that I read the forums and research amps, I am growing a bit befuddled. So far i have purchsed for my BMW 323 Convertible MB Quart q series 5.25 component fronts and Q series 4" Component backs (I know weird but that is the stock config for the car). -- I liked the sound of the MB Qs so I bought those... I am thinking of buyinh one TC-1000 10" for the subs... impressed with the workmanship and oem for SVS which is hella home sub... And the annyoing question is.... WHich amplifier line? The qs need appx 75- 100 @ 4 ohm the TC is recommended 300 @ 4 but the website says feel free to give it 1000. So lets say we buy the dual voice coil and run appx 500-600 @ 2 ohm. I am looking for solid, clean amps that are self explanatory in set up,. I like the concept of getiting a good deal for my money, however I am willing to spend what is necessary in order to get good performance for my system. I could care less about spl other than to be sufficient to blast over wind noise with the top of the convertible down. SQ is important to me as I am a bit of a home stereo geek -- go axiom-- I hope that I haven't been too annoying woth a noob question.... Ben
