[QUOTE="forceofwill, post: 8838855, member: 566958"] So I've been around here for a long time but got out of the audio game for years up until recently. I've owned all kinds of stuff, original Adire Brahma, gen 1 RE XXX, Shocker stuff etc. I originally built this car as a fun road race/canyon carver setup but I'm old and rarely drive it except to shows, so I figured what better way to get back into the hobby I love. PUT SOME WEIGHT IN IT!!! I didn't want to rip the interior out and do anything permanent, so I decided I wanted some good solid ground pounder SQL type setup. Been working on it off and on for about 5 months now. I need to get off my butt and finish the door pod situation and mount the new lithium and it should be demo ready again. My baby: 97 EK hatch with '00 front/rear K20A(real ITR 6 speed w/ LSD) lots of mods, many suspension upgrades etc. For the audio I've settled right now on the Sony 9500ES head unit, the 6.5ES comps, and ES 6x9s in the rear fill. D'amore e400 for the speakers passive xover and 2x JP23 v2 strapped on a 12" NSV5 D1. When I took it up to the Team Deadly Hertz show in VA this year it had one AGM battery behind the seat and a single JP23 v2 at .5 ohm. I don't have a tablesaw or a router currently, so don't judge me too bad, I had D4S make me the box custom and I'm happy with it, it sounds great and looks good. I like the raw look.
